In it's 8th year in this lovely downtown Santa Fe location, The Monks' Corner gift shop represents the Monastery of Christ in the Desert; a Benedictine community of more than thirty Monks located in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Proceeds from all sales benefit the work of the Brothers as well as help to support other monasteries from the country and abroad.
The Monks' Corner has developed a passionate following of customers who make a trip to the store a priority when visiting Santa Fe. Many claim this is due to our unique product lines as well as the serene environment they encounter once they step in the door. The smell of lavender and Trappist incense combined with the soothing sound of Gregorian chant is enchanting and a welcome "respite" from the business found outside.
